How do I receive royalties or license payments for AI music?
Payments depend on the right, license, distributor, collecting society, and contract connected to the use.
YouCast365 offers Royalty & Rights Administration, not a promise that registration itself creates royalties. A Protection Record creates an account and rights-metadata profile and preserves evidence; it does not activate a statutory entitlement, create a royalty balance, or require Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, a PRO, SoundExchange, or a distributor to pay.
Money can become payable only when you control or are authorized to administer the selected right, you accept a separate administration agreement or work schedule, an identifiable payer or partner supplies a statement or cleared payment, and YouCast365 matches that money to the work, right type, territory, and contributor splits. Marketplace license revenue is contractual revenue. Publishing, mechanical, performance, neighboring-rights, distributor, and UGC collections require the appropriate mandate and partner relationship.
Marketplace seller payouts require Stripe Connect. YouCast365 holds the seller cut for 14 days for refund, fraud, chargeback, and manual review before release. Sellers receive an email 24 hours before release review saying “Yay! Your licensing earnings are on the way.” Detections, views, catalog references, and user reports never create estimated royalties.
